Pietro is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Perelli Consulting.
Before that, Pietro was Managing Director of Hines Italia, Head of Project and Construction Management of all Hines projects in Italy, including Porta Nuova, a 2,5 bln Euro mixed development in Milan for which he was the Project Director; Pietro lead a multidisciplinary team of over 50 people plus a large number of signature architects, third party designers, consultants, contractors and professionals; he managed the project across all phases: initial due diligence, business planning, investment memorandum, project financing (equity and debt structuring), entitlement, zoning and urban planning, acquisition, masterplanning, design (concept, schematic design, design development and construction documents), tendering, construction management, leasing, selling, commissioning, project start up and stabilized property and facility management in operation.
Pietro also overviewed the management of other high profile projects, including Gioia 6-8 – Milan a listed building value added project including the NH Hotel and a speculative office part, Ferrante Aporti a listed building refurbishment project in Milan, the Feltrinelli Project by Herzog de Meuron and many other commercial and residential developments.
Before Hines, Pietro was the Head of Project and Construction Management at Jacobs Italia delivering projects for high profile national and international clients such as Diesel, Vodafone, Mercedes, BMW, Leroy Merlin, Chiron, Ely Lilly.
He also worked at Progetto CMR Italy managing many projects across Italy for a variety of clients including Microsoft, Warner Bros, People Soft, SSB, SEC Servizi; he worked in the start up of Progetto CMR’s operations in Tianjin and Beijing – China.
From 1997 to 2002 Pietro worked in Arup London as an Associate, managing design and construction of high rise projects in London as well as other high profile projects in a variety of European cities; he worked in team with a number of major signature architects as well as major international real estate developers.
From 1995 to 1997, while he took his Masters of Architecture, Pietro worked in Arup Brisbane / Arup Sydney as a Structural Engineer; Pietro designed structures for a variety of projects in Sydney and Brisbane, including some of the facilities for the Sydney 2000 Olympics.
In the mid 90’s he worked at Agip as a Junior Structural Engineer; Pietro designed and oversaw construction of offshore drilling platforms located in the Adriatic and Mediterranean seas (Ravenna, Crotone, Egypt).
